4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 5/24/17
Rich Hill still isn't pitching deep enough into games to consider on FanDuel. Who else should you fade in MLB DFS?

Andrew McCutchen, OF, Pittsburgh Pirates

FanDuel Price: $3,300

Much like he did for a good portion of last season, Andrew McCutchen is going through a bit of a rough stretch.

McCutchen has a woeful .275 wOBA, and his batting average has hit smack dab on the Mendoza Line at .200. Maybe "hit" isn't the right word, since he sure isn't getting a lot of them judging by his .214 BABIP.

The low BABIP means much of this has been due to bad luck, although he's had an uncharacteristically average 31.4% hard-hit rate, and his 87.5 miles per hour average exit velocity is down from last year (89.7).

He's unlikely to turn his luck around tonight, though, with Julio Teheran on the mound. Although Teheran has struggled his way to a 5.28 SIERA, he's still limiting righty bats to a 23.9% hard-hit rate, while striking them out 22.1% of the time.

McCutchen should bust out of this slump at some point, but wait for a better time to buy low.
