4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 5/31/17
We're going to want exposure to the Red Sox for their date with Mike Pelfrey, and Deven Marrero is a cheap way to get just that. Who else sticks out as a potential sleeper play?

Matt Holliday, 1B, New York Yankees

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Continuing to bop homers with the rest of his teammates, Logan Morrison heads to Texas to face Austin Bibens-Dirkx. With two homers in his last five games and an implied team total of 5.01 runs, Morrison is sure to be a heavily-played choice.

Veteran Matt Holliday continues to be an overlooked option despite playing in one of the league's best offenses. Perhaps one reason for concern is Holliday's strikeout rate, which has risen from 16.7% last season to a whopping 30.6% so far in 2017.

Why You Should Use Him:

Despite those high strikeout totals, Holliday is currently in the midst of one of his best offensive seasons in recent memory.

So far in 2017, Holliday has posted a .370 wOBA and .255 ISO. That ISO mark over a full year would be the third-best mark of his very productive career.

Holliday will take aim at Kevin Gausman, who's been pretty bad this season. Gausman has allowed a .417 wOBA to right-handed hitters this year.

At a price point of only $2,900, Holliday makes for a cheap pivot with a ton of upside.
