5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/1/17
Russell Martin is off to a strong start this season and draws a good matchup against CC Sabathia and the Yankees. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value on Thursday?

Chris Young, OF, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $2,400

The Boston Red Sox have the second-highest implied total (4.72) on Thursday's main slate, and their matchup with Baltimore Orioles southpaw Wade Miley is an especially good one for their right-handed bats.

Miley has struggled to start 2017, and his 4.58 SIERA is his worst since his 2011 rookie campaign, while right-handed sticks have tagged him for a hefty 37.9% hard-hit rate.

Chris Young has opened 2017 with an unspectacular .324 wOBA, but he posted a .364 wOBA in 2016, and his hard-hit rate has jumped from 37.3% in 2016 to 39.8% this year. This is a great matchup for Young, especially while he's this cheap.
