5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/2/17
Matt Holliday has mashed southpaws this season and faces Francisco Liriano tonight. Who else should you target for fantasy value on Friday?

Yan Gomes, C, Cleveland Indians

FanDuel Price: $2,700

Yan Gomes has been making some really nice contact recently. Among the 315 hitters with at least 25 batted balls over the past month, he ranks 26th in average batted-ball distance and 47th in average exit velocity. He's also sporting a nice 36.9% hard-hit rate and 43.4% fly-ball rate on the season, with a big .399 wOBA against left-handed pitching.

The Kansas City Royals' Jason Vargas, on the other hand, has some really concerning numbers recently. He is allowing a 35.2% hard-hit rate and 58.5% fly-ball rate over his last three starts -- with a 5.69 SIERA in that time.

His season-long numbers -- a 4.19 SIERA and a 4.30 xFIP against right-handed hitters -- don't inspire much confidence either. This is a great spot for Gomes.
