Fantasy Baseball: 4 Pitchers To Stream For Week 10
Veteran lefty Jaime Garcia has given Atlanta quality innings over the past month, and he's set up to continue thriving in Week 10, both for the Braves and for pitching-starved fantasy owners.

Hector Santiago, Minnesota Twins

Starts: June 6th at Seattle Mariners, June 11th at San Francisco Giants
ESPN ownership: 4 percent

Minnesota Twins back-ender Hector Santiago shows nice velocity but mediocre results on his go-to sinking fastball, with his strikeout rates trending down over each of the last five seasons. This year, however, Santiago has put some added movement on his changeup, and while the effects haven't shown up in the strikeout column, the change has seen significant gains in ISO against, limiting hitters to a 37 wRC+ on the season compared to marks of 99 and 129 in the two previous years.

Let's not get too carried away, though. Santiago has a career ERA close to 4.00 and a career xFIP near 5.00, so we're not looking at a high-upside sleeper here. No, we're once again picking on the Mariners and the Giants, scuffling offenses who struggle to produce off the changeup and for whom lefties have been kryptonite.

Mind you, even these subdued offenses can get to Santiago if they remain patient -- Santiago's sinker has worked a 10-plus percent walk rate over each of the past three seasons. But the 29-year-old does have the support of a strong Twins offense and the cushion of a pair of pitcher-friendly ballparks, so deep-leaguers in a pinch should be able to rely on Santiago for modest ratio contributions and perhaps a win or two.
