Daily Fantasy Baseball: Batted-Ball Positive Regression Candidates for Week 10
Nicholas Castellanos is hitting lefties hard, but isn't seeing the results DFS players are hoping for. Who else is due for some positive regression?

Nicholas Castellanos, 3B, Detroit Tigers

Nicholas Castellanos has been squaring up lefties all season (54.6% hard-hit rate and 3.0% soft-hit rate). These are some of the best numbers in all of baseball, but the third baseman is still struggling to see the results. He heated up last week, but is still isn't seeing nearly enough success for a guy with an average exit velocity of 94.9 MPH since May 1st.

Castellanos will see three lefties in a series with the Boston Red Sox this weekend. Yes, one of them will be Chris Sale, but Brian Johnson and Drew Pomeranz can be exposed by power righties. The right-handed hitter should be on DFS players' radars, as it is only a matter of time when these hard hits find gaps in the outfield, and better yet, the bleachers.
