Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers To Stream For Week 11
Which Joe Ross will show up for his upcoming two-start week is anyone's guess, but few widely available streamers offer more upside in Week 11.

Alec Asher, Baltimore Orioles

Starts: June 13th at Chicago White Sox, June 18th vs. St. Louis Cardinals
ESPN ownership: 1 percent

You'll have to put in some serious waiver-wire scrolling to arrive at Baltimore Orioles utility arm Alec Asher, but, for deep league streamers in a pinch, the effort might be worth it given the righty's plus matchups in Week 11.

The platoon splits for the White Sox are quite pronounced, with Chicago standing as bottom-three producers against righties on the season. Asher will walk a fine line by taking his career 43.4-percent fly ball rate to the homer-friendly Guaranteed Rate Field, though Chicago's power numbers at home haven't been all that impressive. Asher then lines up against a St. Louis squad with a bottom-five hard-hit rate against righties on the season.

Asher's not an overwhelming talent by any means, though he has parlayed some added movement on his cutter to up that pitch's whiff rate by almost 10 percentage points. He probably deserves a slightly better overall line than the 6.20 ERA he currently holds as a starter, seeing as 11 of his 20 earned runs allowed are concentrated in two starts -- road tilts against the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros, arguably the two best offenses in the league.
