Seth Smith hasn't been producing his usual strong numbers against right-handed pitching, but his overall numbers aren't too bad, with a 31.1% hard-hit rate, a 12.3% soft-hit rate (on pace to be the second lowest of his career), a serviceable .328 wOBA and a .176 ISO.
He's also coming off a 2016 season that saw him hit righties pretty well, evidenced by a .340 wOBA on a 34.2% hard-hit rate. He'll likely be batting leadoff against Chicago White Sox righty Mike Pelfrey, who has an ugly 5.32 xFIP against left-handed sticks this season.
