3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/12/17
Fresh off a two-homer day, Cory Spangenberg makes for a great under-the-radar play. Who else sticks out as a solid sleeper option?

Cory Spangenberg, 2B, San Diego Padres

FanDuel Price: $2,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

With an absurd implied team total of 6.12 runs, Boston Red Sox are sure to be popular, and perhaps none more popular than the affordable Dustin Pedroia. Priced at only $3,400 with plenty of opportunity for upside, he could be the chalky play at second base.

Returning home to a park that ranks 24th in park factor over the last three seasons, Cory Spangenberg is likely to see low ownership rates, along with the fact that he's typically not a popular option to begin with.

Why You Should Use Him:

Spangenberg and the San Diego Padres have not exactly been world beaters on offense so far in 2017, as they rank 29th in team wOBA at .289.

Ironically, though, despite that tough park shift in a struggling offense, Spangenberg has fared far better at home. He's posted a .347 wOBA at Petco, compared to just .200 on the road.

The matchup with Bronson Arroyo is also almost too juicy to ignore. So far in 2017, the right-hander is allowing 4.07 home runs per nine innings pitched to left-handed batters.
