Jake Lamb is having a career year from the dish, posting a .388 wOBA and .284 isolated slugging (ISO) through 62 games. He has also been especially good against right-handed pitching, with an outstanding .440 wOBA, 37.3% hard-hit rate and 9.7% soft-hit rate, and that puts him in a great spot against Detroit Tigers righty Jordan Zimmermann.
Zimmermann posted what was then a career-worst 4.81 SIERA in 2016, and he has followed that up with a 5.32 in 2017, allowing a huge .404 wOBA on a 43.3% hard-hit rate to left-handed hitters.
