As far as long-tenured closers go, Joe Nathan's production is almost as impressive as they come. In 16 seasons, with a career spread across six different teams, the former sixth round pick churned out 377 saves, positioning him eighth all-time. He didn't do it by striking out tons of batters (9.51 per 9 innings), but he was great at avoiding the longball (0.82 home runs allowed per 9). For this, he reaped the benefits, which came in the form of six All-Star games overall and one AL Rolaids Award in his time with the Minnesota Twins.
