4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/16/17
Starting to heat up and possessing a great matchup, Kyle Schwarber could be in line for a big night. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play?

Derek Fisher, OF, Houston Astros

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Jose Quintana has struggled to replicate his 2016 success, as witnessed by his 4.36 SIERA. Right-handed hitters have posted a .346 wOBA, which makes Jose Bautista a great play.

Just called up to help replace Josh Reddick, who's headed to the disabled list, Derek Fisher is a bit of an unknown commodity and not likely to be heavily owned.

Why You Should Use Him:

Fisher tore the cover off of the ball in the minors this season. Over 60 games, he posted an absurd 1.009 OPS, and it's carried over to The Show, where he mashed a homer in his big league debut yesterday.

This evening, Fisher will face Boston Red Sox lefty Drew Pomeranz. While Pomeranz has posted a very healthy strikeout rate (27.4%), he's also compiled a 7.9% walk rate and identical 35.5% hard-hit and fly-ball rates.

Interestingly, Pomeranz has had issues against same-sided lefties, racking up a .447 wOBA and 44.8% hard-hit rate.

Fisher's a great salary relief option at only $2,200, with some very real upside.
