Kris Bryant has turned in an excellent 2017 season so far, with a .382 wOBA. His small 73 plate appearance sample against southpaws has been especially strong, with that wOBA jumping to .472 with a 36.8% hard-hit rate, 10.5% soft-hit rate and 44.7% fly-ball rate.

Bryant brings that production into a plus matchup tonight against Miami Marlins lefty Jeff Locke.

Locke is coming off a 2016 season in which he posted a 5.06 SIERA, and while he has shown some improvement this season, his 4.07 SIERA through 4 games isn't especially impressive either. Bryant has elite upside here.
