5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/23/17
Mallex Smith has plenty of upside from the plate and on the bases tonight against Orioles' righty Ubaldo Jimenez. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Friday?

Mallex Smith, OF, Tampa Bay Rays

FanDuel Price: $2,900

It has been a small 21-game sample, but Mallex Smith has been excellent from the dish this year, posting a .375 wOBA. His baserunning also gives him a huge boost in fantasy value, having swiped 9 bags in those 21 games after stealing 16 in 30 games at the Triple-A level.

Baltimore Orioles righty Ubaldo Jimenez's 4.90 SIERA is his worst since his rookie season, while left-handed bats have beaten up on him for a .415 wOBA, along with walking 13.8% of the time.

Smith should not only be able to do some damage at the dish against Jimenez, but the fact that he's so likely to get on base also puts him in a great spot to offer some upside in the stolen base department, as well.
