3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/26/17
Absolutely crushing lefties this year, Martin Maldonado is in a great spot tonight. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play?

Jeff Samardzija, SP, San Francisco Giants

FanDuel Price: $8,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Even with a tiny six-game main slate on tap tonight, there are a pile of fantastic pitching options available, including the marquee matchup of Chris Sale and Jose Berrios. Not to be outdone, Carlos Carrasco faces Cole Hamels. Those are four high-priced studs who are certain to get a ton of play.

One medium-priced option who probably won't get a ton of looks is Jeff Samardzija. Despite only a 2-9 record, the San Francisco Giants hurler is not one whom we should ignore.

Why You Should Use Him:

A closer look reveals that Samardzija has been pretty darn good this season. Over 98 2/3 innings pitched, he's racked up a very impressive 3.16 SIERA and a 27.7% strikeout rate.

He'll get to face a Colorado Rockies squad that certainly struggles away from home. The Rockies rank 22nd in road wOBA as a team (.304) while striking out 23.8% of the time.

If you're looking for a pivot starting pitching option, look no further than The Shark.
