4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/28/17
Finding himself in a tremendous matchup, Chris Herrmann could make for a great under-the-radar option at catcher. Who else has some sleeper potential on Wednesday's MLB DFS slate?

Wilmer Flores, 3B, New York Mets

FanDuel Price: $3,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Josh Donaldson sure looks like a tempting option on the Wednesday slate since he'll be facing Wade Miley, who has posted a 4.83 SIERA this year that includes a .355 wOBA to right-handed hitters.

Cooling down a bit after a red-hot May where he posted a .390 wOBA, Wilmer Flores and his 16.2% June strikeout rate (the highest monthly mark for him in 2017) may float under the radar.

Why You Should Use Him:

The New York Mets will face Jeff Locke this evening, who's been plugged into the Miami Marlins' rotation because of injuries to folks like Wei-Yin Chen.

A quick look at a larger sample size like Locke's 2016 shows that right-handed bats are a problem for him. Over 89 1/3 innings pitched in that situation last year, Locke allowed a .372 wOBA, a 34.9% hard-hit rate, and a 31.9% fly-ball rate to righties.

Flores has also done his best work in 2017 on the road against lefties, posting a 1.050 OPS and .200 ISO over 38 plate appearances.

While Marlins park ranks only 29th in home run factor over the last three seasons, don't let that scare you away. It's played a bit more friendly for homers this year, ranking 23rd, so it's not a bad thing to be bullish on Flores tonight.
