There aren't many strong top-end pitchers on today's slate, so Stephen Strasburg easily stands out as the most appealing arm.

Even in what has been a down year by his lofty standards, Stras has posted a solid 3.54 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) with a 27.5% strikeout rate and 11.9% swinging-strike rate, which is on pace to be his best mark since he was a rookie in 2010.

He hasn't cracked more than five strikeouts in either of his last two starts, but those were both against teams that rank below-average in strikeout rate against right-handed pitching, and tonight's matchup is much more appealing.

The Chicago Cubs strike out at a top-5 rate (23.4%) against righties and rank below average with a 90 wRC+, putting Strasburg in a great spot to bounce back.
