5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/28/17
Given his .457 wOBA against righties this season, Alex Avila is very underpriced against Ian Kennedy and the Royals. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Wednesday?

Russell Martin, C, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Toronto Blue Jays righties are in a strong spot today as the Jays boast the day's third-highest implied total (5.46) against the Baltimore Orioles and southpaw Wade Miley.

Miley is having some control issues this season -- he's owns a 4.83 SIERA and 12.1% walk rate, both of which would be career worsts. He has also allowed a .335 wOBA, 4.49 xFIP and 33.5% hard-hit rate to right-handed sticks.

Russell Martin's .343 wOBA this season is on pace to be his highest since joining the Jays, and while he hasn't produced well against southpaws, he has made great contact (33.3% hard-hit, 8.3% soft-hit and 37.5% fly-ball rates). This has only translated to a .182 batting average on balls in play (BABIP), and having posted a .284 in 2016 and a .287 over his career, we can expect his production to improve significantly moving forward.
