4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 7/7/17
Lefty Derek Dietrich has been mashing southpaws this year, and makes for a great value play. Who else looms with sleeper potential tonight?

Derek Dietrich, 3B, Miami Marlins

FanDuel Price: $2,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Over the last 14 days, Justin Turner has been absolutely mashing, to the tune of a 51.4% hard-hit rate, good for seventh-best in the league. He's likely to get a long look from DFS players Friday night.

Locked into a time share with Martin Prado and Dee Gordon while also facing a same-sided lefty, Derek Dietrich is not likely to be heavily owned tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

Costing only 2,700 smackeroos, Dietrich could be primed for a big night against the struggling Matt Moore of the San Francisco Giants.

In 2017, Moore's allowed a .469 wOBA, a 47.6% hard-hit rate, and a 37.5% fly-ball rate against left-handed bats.

Dietrich, meanwhile, crushes southpaws -- against left-handed pitching, he's posted a 1.060 OPS and a .463 wOBA.
