FanDuel Price: $2,900
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Pittsburgh Pirates starter Trevor Williams gets the unenviable task of drawing a Coors Field start, and a deeper dive reveals that Williams has really struggled away from home. On the season, he's allowed a .348 road wOBA and 5.13 ERA in 33 1/3 road innings pitched.
With only a .261 batting average and a 23.4% strikeout rate, the second-highest mark of his career, Odubel Herrera is not likely to be a popular choice.
Why You Should Use Him:
2017 has certainly been a tough year, but Herrera has been fantastic since the beginning of June. In 168 plate appearances since June 1st, Herrera's logged a .369 wOBA, including a 36.1% hard-hit rate.
He'll be looking to keep up that hot run against Milwaukee Brewers starter Matt Garza, who's been less than good against lefties. They've ripped him for a 33.6% hard-hit rate and a 43.6% fly-ball rate.
Herrera is in a great spot, and at a sub $3,000 price point, is extremely affordable.
