The Los Angeles Dodgers' 5.67 implied total is the second-highest mark on Monday as they host the Minnesota Twins and righty Bartolo Colon.
Like I talked about with R.A. Dickey, a pitcher over 40 years old that didn't pitch well last season (4.37 SIERA for Colon) is rarely going to do anything except continue to decline, and that's what's happened here. Colon boasts a career-worst 4.96 SIERA through 14 starts, allowing a .371 wOBA, 35.8% hard-hit rate, 41.4% fly-ball rate and 5.40 xFIP to left-handed bats.
He's not likely to slow down Corey Seager at all in this one, either.
Seager has been making outstanding contact against right-handed pitching this year, with a 48.8% hard-hit rate and 10.6% soft-hit rate, which has led to a .374 wOBA and .207 ISO.
