4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 7/24/17
Locked into a solid lefty-righty matchup against Clayton Richard, Wilmer Flores makes for a strong play. Who else stands out as an under-the-radar option?

Wilmer Flores, 3B, New York Mets

FanDuel Price: $2,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

While he will face a tricky matchup with knuckleballer R.A. Dickey, it's hard to ignore Jake Lamb at third base. He's absolutely en fuego with three homers and nine RBI over his last three games.

With only three hits in his last 15 at-bats, Wilmer Flores is likely to float under the radar.

Why You Should Use Him:

Struggling a little out of the break, Flores may seem like an easy player to pass on, but that could be a big mistake.

Flores faces Clayton Richard of the San Diego Padres. Richard has recorded the worst ERA among starting qualified pitchers over the last 30 days (9.72). That inflated ERA is tied to a whopping 40.2% hard-hit rate allowed over the same time frame (even though Richard has maintained his mastery of lefties).

Flores, meanwhile, mashes left-handed hurlers. In 2017, he's recorded a 112 wRC+ against them, including a 37.7% hard-hit rate and 42.6% fly-ball rate.

It all adds up to a potentially explosive evening for Flores at a super affordable price.
