The Chicago Cubs' huge 5.96 implied total is not only the highest mark on Thursday's eight-game main slate, but it's more than a full run higher than any other team's.

That gives a big boost in value to every bat in the Cubs' lineup as they draw a terrific matchup against Chicago White Sox right-hander Mike Pelfrey. His ugly 5.46 SIERA in 2017 puts him on pace to finish with a SIERA worse than 5.00 for the third time in the last four seasons.

Addison Russell has been making some nice contact recently, ranking 69th in average exit velocity and an especially promising 18th in average batted-ball distance among hitters with at least 25 batted balls in July. He pairs that with a solid .353 wOBA on the month, and since shortstop is very thin on tonight's slate, Russell is an absolute steal at this price point.
