FanDuel Price: $8,200
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
There are four hurlers priced at $9,000 or greater, among them Michael Wacha, Masahiro Tanaka, and Jose Quintana, all of whom are throwing the ball well. Those expensive arms are sure to garner a majority of the attention at the pitching slot.
After getting hurt yet again, Danny Salazar is only one start back from the disabled list, but could be in line for a big evening.
Why You Should Use Him:
While 2017 has been a bit bumpy for Salazar, his last outing was brilliant, and he will look to keep it rolling.
Salazar has always been a swing-and-miss stud -- he's yet to record a start this year with a single-digit swinging-strike rate, which is pretty absurd. In that first start back, he recorded a swing-and-miss rate of 17.4%.
His opponent, the Chicago White Sox, have been terrible lately. Over the last two weeks, they rank 29th in team wOBA (.280) and are striking out 23.2% of the time.
Salazar makes for a really attractive option, and won't break the bank.
