J.T. Realmuto has seen more results than most of the players in this article, but his numbers could be much better if he had average batted-ball luck.
Over the last week, Realmuto has been crushing everything in sight (95.7 mph exit velocity), with eight instances in which the exit velocity on a ball he hit registered over 100 mph. He's currently one of the best hitting catchers in baseball, but has consistently gone underowned, even in great matchups.
The Marlins catcher will face Gio Gonzalez Monday night, followed by some solid matchups with R.A. Dickey and Lucas Sims later in the week.
