On the other side of that Rangers/Mariners matchup at the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park, Texas righty Nick Martinez doesn't inspire much confidence either. He is on pace for a SIERA north of 5.00 (5.24) for his third time in four major league seasons and has allowed a huge .383 wOBA with a 5.90 xFIP to left-handed hitters.
Jarrod Dyson is no killer from the dish, but he has a not-terrible .318 wOBA with a 7.5% walk rate against right-handed pitching this season, and with 23 stolen bases in 95 games in 2017, once he does get on base (something he's likely to do against the struggling Martinez), he offers some strong fantasy upside.
