FanDuel Price: $7,500
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
If the New York Yankees were playing on the main slate, Masahiro Tanaka would be the obvious pitching choice. Since June 1st, he's whiffed 30.0% of all batters faced. The main slate in the evening is a bit tougher for pitching options -- but Jake Arrieta and Zack Godley square off in Chicago, and are two of the more expensive options on the slate that should see the majority of ownership.
Milwaukee Brewers starter Brent Suter, who has only 66 2/3 innings to his name, is likely to be a low-owned option.
Why You Should Use Him:
Suter has been shuffled between the 'pen and the rotation, but over 45.0 innings pitched this year, he's been effective, posting a 2.40 ERA and a 4.10 SIERA.
He's held his own with a 20.4% strikeout rate, and he's facing a St. Louis Cardinals team that struggles against left-handed pitching. This season, they rank 19th in team wOBA against southpaws (.309), striking out 21.1% of the time.
With a lack of huge options to pick from, Suter makes for an affordable option with a quality matchup
