FanDuel Price: $9,300
The baseball gods continue to smile upon Ervin Santana ($9,300) in 2017, as he put up a 58-point complete game gem in his last start. Of course, it came against the San Diego Padres, so take that with a grain of salt.
Indeed, despite his pristine 3.28 ERA and 1.11 WHIP, his SIERA remains an ugly 4.72, and his 19.2% strikeout rate limits his upside. While he deserves some credit for limiting hard contact (29.0% rate), he's still skating by with a fortuitous .223 BABIP.
Even in a matchup against the strikeout-prone Milwaukee Brewers on a small slate, there's little reason to expect another big performance.
