3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 8/9/17
Fresh off a disabled list stint, Dexter Fowler has been productive and has another strong matchup tonight in the I-70 series. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play?

Dexter Fowler, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The well-traveled Nick Tepesch has bounced around quite a bit in his career, and hasn't logged significant action in the bigs since 2014. Sporting one of the highest implied team totals of the day, New York Yankees are sure to be a popular option, including Aaron Judge and Brett Gardner.

Just off the disabled list and struggling through one of the worst seasons of his career, Dexter Fowler isn't likely to be heavily owned.

Why You Should Use Him:

After missing a few weeks due to injury, Fowler has hit the ground running over his last two games, ripping 3 extra-base hits in his first 9 plate appearances.

Kansas City Royals starter Trevor Cahill, who's posted a very strong 25.2% strikeout rate this year, has started to hit a rough patch lately.

Since the All-Star break, over 62 batters faced, lefties have torched Cahill for a .409 wOBA, including a .586 slugging percentage.

At a sub-$3,000 price point, Fowler makes for a sneaky outfield play.
