Daily Fantasy Baseball: Batted-Ball Positive Regression Candidates for Week 21
Yasiel Puig is due for some positive regression and has a chance for a big finish to August. Who else is due for a change in their batted-ball luck?

Alex Avila, C, Chicago Cubs

It seems like Alex Avila is starting to get his swing back to where it was in May and June when he was crushing everything. Against righties this month, he's seventh in average exit velocity at 95 mph. Despite just an 8.3% soft-hit rate, his BABIP so far in August stands at just .250.

With Willson Contreras on the shelf, Avila should get a bunch of starts this week against exploitable righties like Homer Bailey, Asher Wojciechowski, Ben Lively, and Nick Pivetta. At under $3,000 on FanDuel, he's underpriced for the upside he possesses in these matchups.
