Daily Fantasy Baseball: Batted-Ball Positive Regression Candidates for Week 21
Yasiel Puig is due for some positive regression and has a chance for a big finish to August. Who else is due for a change in their batted-ball luck?

Jose Martinez, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

Jose Martinez doesn't play every day, but he's been smoking the baseball when he is on the field lately.

Amongst all hitters in August, Martinez is fifth in average exit velocity at 95.3 mph. Despite that and his 45.7% hard-hit rate, his BABIP this month is sitting at just .281, suggesting Martinez has been a bit unlucky.

He has a lot of power and will have matchups with Clayton Richard, Austin Pruitt, and Jake Odorizzi this week, all of which give up a good amount of hard contact to righties. Look for Martinez as a low-owned one-off with huge upside.
