Eric Hosmer has been one of the best hitters in baseball this season, yet DFS players still don't like him. Hosmer is top-3 in the entire MLB (minimum 10 at bats) in exit velocity against right-handed pitching over the last two weeks with an average of 95.8 MPH. Despite that, the Kansas City Royals first baseman is still seeing a lot of lineouts and flyouts.
Hosmer has a chance to go on a tear this week. He'll face the likes of Austin Pruitt and Alex Cobb at home, and then will see a ballpark upgrade in Minnesota against the Twins in matchups against Kyle Gibson and Dillon Gee. He rarely sees over 5% ownership in tournaments, but will be one of the best DFS plays on the board for a good portion of this week.
