His strikeout stuff hasn't been anything special this year, with a 21.0% strikeout rate and 10.8% swinging strike rate, but that's less of a concern in today's matchup with the Texas Rangers.

The Rangers rank only 25th in wRC+ while striking out at the seventh-highest rate in the majors (23.8%) against left-handed pitching, leaving Keuchel with a strong floor and some great upside despite his underwhelming strikeout rate.
