4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/1/17
Facing struggling arm Nick Pivetta, Tyler Moore could make for a strong play. Who else profiles as a solid sleeper?

Melky Cabrera, OF, Kansas City Royals

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

An Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies matchup in Denver is sure to make lineups explode. David Peralta, A.J. Pollock, J.D. Martinez, and Charlie Blackmon are all likely to be heavily owned tonight.

Slumping a bit with only one base knock in his last 12 at-bats, Melky Cabrera is probably going to see low ownership.

Why You Should Use Him:

There are several reasons to be bullish on Melky tonight, and it starts with Minnesota Twins starter Dillon Gee.

Gee has been effective in 2017 -- he's logged a 4.11 SIERA over 35 2/3 innings pitched -- but lefties have gotten the best of him. They have teed off on Gee to the tune of a .396 wOBA, 28.0% hard-hit rate, and 47.9% fly-ball rate.

And while this recent run hasn't been great, Cabrera has played well in the second half, rocking an .807 OPS and .172 ISO.

Add in Target Field's seventh-ranked park factor over the last three seasons, and Cabrera makes for a strong option in the outfield.
