Not surprisingly, the Los Angeles Dodgers have bigger longterm goals in mind, so Kershaw is only expected to go around 5 innings and 75 pitches. Even against the San Diego Padres, we simply can't go here given Kershaw's usual, astronomical salary.

There's no clear-cut top pitching option to pivot to, but with no other arm priced above $9,100, the savings off Kershaw are massive. Guys like Gerrit Cole, Jimmy Nelson, and even Blake Snell, aren't necessarily your usual crew of top DFS hurlers, but are quite capable of outscoring a limited Kershaw.
