Daily Fantasy Baseball: Batted-Ball Positive Regression Candidates for Week 23
Greg Bird has some solid batted-ball numbers lately, but he's had little in the way of good results to show for it. Who else is due for some positive regression?

Harrison Bader, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

St. Louis Cardinals rookie stud Harrison Bader doesn't have a huge sample as far as batted-ball data, but in eight balls put in play over the last two weeks, Bader is sixth in all of the MLB with a 97.7 MPH average exit velocity. He has reached over 98 MPH in half of those batted balls, an impressive feat for anyone, especially a rookie.

Bader should be getting a lot of playing time in September, and this week he has a chance to go on a tear, facing Travis Wood, Clayton Richard, Chad Kuhl, and Ivan Nova. The ballparks won't be favorable, but at minimum salary on FanDuel, Bader will definitely deserve some consideration in DFS tournaments as a low-owned, high-upside option.
