FanDuel Price: $7,800
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Tonight's main slate isn't filled with a wealth of great pitching options, and that means Carlos Carrasco is likely to be a heavily-owned option. He is one of only two pitchers priced above $9,000 (Gio Gonzalez is the other), and the Cleveland Indians, winners of 13 straight games, are heavy favorites (money line of -275) on Wednesday.
Bouncing from the Los Angeles Angels' Triple-A affiliate over to the Boston Red Sox and sporting a 4.69 SIERA at the major league level this year, Doug Fister may be a bit overlooked.
Why You Should Use Him:
Well traveled this season, Fister has been quietly brilliant over his last six turns, making Sox fans and fantasy owners forget that rough start. In his last 41 1/3 innings pitched, the right-hander has fired a 3.05 ERA and whiffed 21.6% of hitters while racking up a ground-ball rate of 54.9%.
Tonight, he will get the added benefit of facing a slumping Toronto Blue Jays team, who have posted a 21.8% strikeout rate and a .303 wOBA (21st in baseball) over the past two weeks.
