Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Freddie Freeman is at home against a right-handed pitcher, and that should mean a ton of ownership for the Braves first baseman. This season at SunTrust Park, he's rocking an 1.167 OPS with the platoon advantage.
Facing one of the aces taking the hill in Chris Archer, Mitch Moreland of the Boston Red Sox is likely to be ignored -- especially with a full slate of first basemen to choose from.
Why You Should Use Him:
Archer returns to the mound following some elbow issues, but regardless of that, he's given up some loud contact to lefties this season. They've knocked him for a 43.5% hard-hit rate and 33.3% fly-ball rate, which also includes 1.31 home runs allowed per nine innings.
If those injury concerns linger into this start and force him to leave early, that could also be a good thing for Moreland. The Rays' bullpen ranks 18th in xFIP this year with a 4.41 mark.
Of the 18 homers Moreland has slugged this year, 17 have come against righties, while his ISO in this situation (.203) is totally different from when he doesn't have the platoon advantage (.091).
