Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream for Week 24
Reds rookie Robert Stephenson has hit another gear over his last four starts, making him one of the more tempting two-start options in Week 24.

Trevor Williams, Pittsburgh Pirates

Start: September 13th at Milwaukee Brewers
ESPN ownership: 10 percent

If you squint real hard, you can see, far back in the rear view, a time when the Brewers ran the second-highest team ISO in the league across the season's first two months, when they looked like legitimate National League spoilers and an unthinkable matchup for streaming pitchers.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

The Brew Crew have been the least-productive MLB offense in the second half in terms of weighted runs created plus (wRC+), tempting fantasy streamers with the league's worst team strikeout rate over that span. Worse yet, the Brewers have mustered a below-average team ISO at home since the break despite the hitter-friendly environs, so our eyes have to perk up even when we see a Miller Park date on the schedule for a widely available and halfway competent starter.

Competent is exactly how one would describe Pittsburgh Pirates sophomore Trevor Williams, who isn't exactly mowing teams down with his low 90s fastball and 17.5% strikeout rate. But as a pitcher who keeps the ball down and coaxes weak contact (28.2% soft hit rate and 48.1% ground-ball rate), he seems like a good bet to hang with the whiff-happy Brewers and offer fantasy owners a cheap ticket to some quality innings.
