4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/12/17
The Mets may be a bit of a mash unit, but Travis d'Arnaud could be primed for a big night. Who else makes for a sleeper play for Tuesday's MLB DFS contests?

Brandon Crawford, SS, San Francisco Giants

FanDuel Price: $2,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

I'm not sure the Cleveland Indians are going to lose ever again. That's a bit of a hyperbole, but if Francisco Lindor has anything to say about it, they will probably beat up on Matt Boyd again tonight. The young shortstop has posted five straight performances of 18.0-plus FanDuel points.

Part of a Giants offense that ranks last in team wOBA (.295) and facing Clayton Kershaw tonight, Brandon Crawford could see extremely low ownership.

Why You Should Use Him:

Despite facing the super ace, Crawford makes for an interesting pivot at shortstop.

Kershaw has surprisingly allowed a lot of hard contact to left-handed hitters -- they have knocked him around for 1.82 home runs per nine innings pitched, a 30.6% hard-hit rate, and 36.6% fly-ball rate.

Throughout his career, Crawford has been particularly adept against southpaws, and 2017 has been no different, posting a .142 ISO, 29.9% hard-hit rate, and 39.6% fly-ball rate against them.
