3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/14/17
Justin Smoak has been scuffling a bit, but he will look to pop another long one against Jose Berrios tonight. Who else profiles as a quality sleeper play?

Seth Smith, OF, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $2,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Facing Jose Urena of the Miami Marlins, Odubel Herrera could be a very popular option. Returning from an injury recently, Herrera has posted 9.0-plus FanDuel points six times in his last seven games.

Seth Smith of the Baltimore Orioles, who has lost playing time recently to Craig Gentry and faces ace Masahiro Tanaka tonight, could go overlooked.

Why You Should Use Him:

Smith has to deal with a tough arm, but Tanaka has had long ball issues in 2017, especially against lefties.

This year, lefties have hit 1.94 home runs per nine innings pitched against the Yankees starter, including a 32.0% hard-hit rate.

Twelve of Smith's 13 home runs this season have come with the platoon advantage, and he's rocked them for a solid 36.7% hard-hit rate and 33.6% fly-ball rate.
