3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 9/15/17
With a 40.7% hard-hit rate against righties, Justin Smoak has big upside against Bartolo Colon and the Twins tonight. Who else should you target for big-time value in daily fantasy on Friday?

Ezequiel Carrera, OF, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $2,000

Going back to the Blue Jays offense, Colon has been especially lousy against left-handed hitters this year, allowing a .388 wOBA, 42.6% hard-hit rate, and 5.81 xFIP, meaning this matchup is a particularly strong one for Ezequiel Carrera.

Carrera has been productive against righties this season, with a .361 wOBA. He's not an especially high-upside fantasy option, with just 9 steals and 8 home runs in 302 plate appearances this season, but at such a low price, this matchup leaves him as a safe bet to return solid value. His ceiling also gets a bit of a bump from the Jays' decent implied total, which suggests increased RBI and run-scoring opportunity.
