3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/18/17
Despite a rough season, Greg Bird is in a good spot for production against the Minnesota Twins on Monday. Who else should we keep in mind as a solid sleeper play?

Greg Bird, 1B, New York Yankees

FanDuel Price: $2,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Cody Bellinger is mashing again and he will look to light up Nick Pivetta tonight, who's rocking a 6.75 ERA and 1.57 WHIP this season.

With just a .150 batting average through 150 plate appearances in 2017, Greg Bird could very easily fly under the radar.

Why You Should Use Him:

One of the problems Bird has experienced this year is making consistent contact -- his 70.3% contact rate, which would rank 139th out of 149 qualified hitters this season. When he does make contact, though, it's pretty tasty, evidenced by a 34.9% hard-hit rate and 53.2% fly-ball rate.

While that average is scary, Bird does have a keen eye at the plate (11.1% walk rate versus righties) and makes for a cheap pivot at first base.
