FanDuel Price: $6,700
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
This is a pretty average pitching slate tonight, but two big arms will likely dominate the ownership. Jake Arrieta and Carlos Martinez are the only two pitchers who are priced above $9,000, and each should be fairly popular.
Young righty Carson Fulmer, who is back with the Chicago White Sox and in the rotation, makes only his fourth start of the season and should be a low-owned hurler.
Why You Should Use Him:
Despite only having 29 2/3 MLB innings under his belt, Fulmer has been great in back-to-back starts, and we need to take notice.
In those two outings, Fulmer pitched 12 total innings, allowing only one earned run and striking out 14 batters. He has recorded a tasty 9.6% swinging-strike rate on the year.
Tonight, he will face a Houston Astros offense that, over the last 30 days, ranks 19th in team wOBA (.313), so check out Fulmer as a cheap pitching pivot.
