4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/22/17
Justin Smoak has been slumping a bit, but looks to get back on track tonight against Masahiro Tanaka. Who else could make for a sneaky play?

Joe Panik, 2B, San Francisco Giants

FanDuel Price: $3,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Despite a tough matchup against Zack Greinke, Dee Gordon could be a chalky play up the middle. He has been white-hot lately, ripping off five games of 15.0-plus FanDuel points over his last 10.

As a member of an offense that ranks 28th in team wOBA against southpaws (.295) that's facing stud Rich Hill tonight, Joe Panik will likely go overlooked.

Why You Should Use Him:

Hill has been fantastic this season, but an opportunity for some lefty-on-lefty crime is a good possibility here.

That southpaw has been hit hard by left-handed hitters in 2017, as they've recorded a .369 wOBA while hitting 1.85 home runs per nine innings pitched against him with a 26.2% hard-hit rate and 46.8% fly-ball rate.

Combine that with Panik's 159 wRC+ on the road versus lefties (tonight's contest is in Los Angeles), and you have a very sneaky option at second base.
