MLB Daily Fantasy Baseball: Batted-Ball Positive Regression Candidates for Week 26
Eric Thames' recent batted-ball data suggests he could be in line for a big last week of 2017. Who else is due for some positive regression?

Pedro Alvarez, OF, Baltimore Orioles

The leader in average exit velocity over the last two weeks is an Orioles player but probably not the one you would guess. Pedro Alvarez shockingly is crushing everything lately, with almost half of his batted-ball events traveling over 100 MPH since getting regular playing time.

While Alvarez doesn't bat near the top of the order, he is very cheap and still clearly has some power. At only $2,100 on FanDuel, you could do worse than a cheap Alvarez against Trevor Williams and Chad Kuhl, especially when he is hitting the ball this well.
