3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/27/17
Max Kepler makes for an interesting option in the outfield against Danny Salazar. Who else profiles as a strong sleeper play for Wednesday's daily fantasy baseball contests?

Max Kepler, OF, Minnesota Twins

FanDuel Price: $2,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Facing a right-handed pitcher tonight in Reynaldo Lopez, Mike Trout could be a very chalky outfield play. Against same-sided arms this season, Trout is sporting an absurd 191 wRC+ with a 39.8% hard-hit rate and 46.3% fly-ball rate.

Recording a .317 wOBA this season and just a .221 batting average in the second half, Max Kepler could be ignored in the outfield -- especially with 11 games on the slate to choose from.

Why You Should Use Him:

Kepler has had a bit of an up-and-down year, but he has been far better with the platoon advantage. He owns a 116 wRC+ against righties, which is miles ahead of his 20 wRC+ against southpaws.

His matchup with Cleveland Indians starter Danny Salazar is also worth noting because he's struggled recently. Through his most recent 11 innings of work, he's held an impressive 24.5% strikeout rate, but has also posted a 9.00 ERA and an 11.3% walk rate.

Given Salazar's struggles and Kepler's impressive .214 ISO against righties, he makes for an intriguing play.
