Fantasy Baseball: 7 Mid-Round Starting Pitching Targets for 2018
You should consider adding these starting pitchers in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts this spring.

Julio Teheran, Atlanta Braves

ADP: 240.91

Since becoming a regular starter for the Atlanta Braves in 2013, Teheran has been a workhorse, logging at least 30 starts every season with more than 185 innings pitched each year. He's generally put up good numbers, too, with ERAs that were better than some of his peripherals.

From 2013-16, the two-time All Star had a 3.33 ERA and a 3.82 FIP with a 115 ERA+, averaging 7.9 K/9 while walking 2.4 per nine. He made 32 starts last year, but went 11-13 with a 4.49 ERA and 4.95 FIP. His walk rate ballooned from 1.96 in 2016 to 3.44 last season, and he suddenly became homer-prone, allowing 1.48 homers per nine, up from 1.05 the season before.

There is some risk with Teheran, but you know you're getting an innings-eater. And at 27 years old, he's entering what should be the best part of his career. If he's your fourth or fifth-best starter, you're in pretty good shape.
