Fantasy Baseball: Which Injured Players Should You Draft and Stash?
A number of guys -- like Milwaukee's Jimmy Nelson -- look like they'll start the season on the disabled list. Which are still worth targeting, and when should you draft them?

Marcus Stroman, SP, Toronto Blue Jays

Toronto Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman has yet to throw a pitch in a spring game due to shoulder inflammation, which is obviously a reason to worry.

Last year, Stroman went 13-9 with a 3.09 ERA in 201 innings, and a return to that form was expected here in 2018. We project a 191-inning season for stroman with an ERA of 3.58 and 155 strikeouts.

He's currently the 48th pitcher (including relievers) off the board -- ahead of guys like Sonny Gray, Jeff Samardzija, Trevor Bauer and, Lance McCullers -- so his health doesn't seem to be a big deterrent so far for fantasy owners.

However, if you're trying to decide between pitchers in this particular tier, the smarter option might be to avoid the risk. If Stroman doesn't get into some games soon, he won't be ready for Opening Day.
