Fantasy Baseball: 9 Players That Are Being Overvalued
The following nine players all enjoyed a solid 2017 campaign, but at their current Average Draft Position, you should avoid them on draft day.

Dee Gordon - Seattle Mariners (2B/OF)

Dee Gordon is expected to play center field for the Seattle Mariners, but at the moment, he still qualifies as a second baseman. And if you're drafting him to play there, you're probably taking him way too high right now.

Gordon is currently the third second baseman coming off the board with an ADP of 28.6, making him an early third-rounder in 12-team leagues. If you play in a league in which steals and batting average are important, Gordon has value. We project he'll hit .283 with 38 steals, but it's possible he'll match his stolen base totals of the last four years (64, 53, 30, and 60).

But if you're in an on-base percentage or OPS league, Gordon is going to be a one category stud only (steals). numberFire's projections have a handful of players as better overall options, including Daniel Murphy, Jonathan Schoop, Whit Merrifield, Rougned Odor, and Jean Segura.
